Vivek oberoi full name is Vivekanand Oberoi. He was born on September 3, 1976. Vivek Oberoi is a Bollywood actor, who worked in several Bollywood movies. His debut movie was with Ram Gopal Verma’s company and that movie has won two Filmfare awards.

Vivek Oberoi Early life

Vivek Oberoi was born and bought up in Hyderabad. vivek’s father is from Punjab and his mother is from a Tamil family. His father’s name is Suresh Oberoi and his mother’s name is Yashodhara Oberoi. His father was a veteran Bollywood actor. Vivek Oberoi did his graduation from Mayo College, Ajmer. He had done an acting workshop in London. A director of New York University spotted him at the workshop and took him to New York. And Vivek Oberoi completed his masters’ degree in film acting from New York University. Not just acting Vivek Oberoi did scriptwriting in Bollywood.

Vivek Oberoi started his career with Ram Gopal Verma film. he received many awards for that movie. Vivek’s next project after Ram Gopal Verma’s film was “Road” and “dum”. In 2002, he done a movie named “saathiya” which was directed by Shaad Ali. This is the blockbuster movie of Vivek Oberoi and this movie had nominated for Filmfare in the best actor category. and Vivek Oberoi had done lots of Comedy movies like “Masti” and a political thriller movie “Yuva” in 2004.

Vivek did a movie in 2005, “Kisna-The warrior poet”. and In 2006 he did a movie named “Omkara” and In 2007, he done a movie named “Shootout at Lokhandwala” in this movie he played the role of “Maya Dolas”. he had done a movie “Mission Istanbul” in 2008 and the director of this movie was “Apoorva Lakhia”.

he had performed in “International Indian film academy awards” in the song “Apun Ke Saath” and this song was directed by Vikas Kohli.  Vivek Oberoi played a supporting role in a movie in 2009 named “Kurbaan”. In 2010, he did a movie named “Prince” and this movie had a good response from the audience. This movie is a great success.

This film was featured in Busan film festival and this film won the “Audience choice award for best film”. This is the first movie of India who performed at the “Busan film festival”.

Vivek Oberoi had done many dubbed movies like “The amazing spider-man 2” in this movie he dubbed the voice of “Electro”. Vivek Oberoi done worked with “YRF”. He did a movie under the “YRF” banner named “Bank chor” and in this movie, there is Rhea Chakraborty and Ritesh Deshmukh in lead roles. Vivek Oberoi did his Malayalam debut in 2019 and the movie name was “Lucifer”. Vivek had done a negative role in this movie. This movie and the performance of Vivek were superb. Vivek was a judge of a talent show “India’s best dramebaaz”.

Personal life

Vivek Oberoi and his family are followers of monks. He dated his co-star of the movie” Kyun ho Gaya Na” Aishwariya rai and in 2003 Vivek told in an interview that Aishwarya rai’s boyfriend Salman khan threatened him. and on 29 October 2010, Vivek married Priyanka Alva. Priyanka is the daughter of a Karnataka minister. This couple has a son and daughter. and Vivek Oberoi has a company named “karm infrastructure Pvt ltd” and this company donated 25flats to the family of the Central reserve police force who was killed in an action. he donated 3million and 25 million to the people who are needy.

Vivek Oberoi won Filmfare Awards for Best Supporting Actor and Best Debut in 2002. vivek’s won the IIFA Awards for Best Villain for the movie Shootout at Lokhandwala in 2008. He won the Zee Cine Awards for Best Male Debut and Best Actor in a Supporting Role – Male in 2002. He won the Star Screen Award for Best Male Debut in 2002 and he won the Stardust Awards for Superstar of Tomorrow – Male, Best Supporting Actor, and Standout Performance of the Year. Vivek won the Bollywood Movie Awards for Best Male Debut and Best Supporting Actor. and He won the AXN Action Awards for Best Action Actor in a Negative Role for Shootout at Lokhandwala in 2007. Vivek won the Asianet Film Awards and Vanitha Film Awards for Best Actor in a negative role in 2020.
